About this section
Blitz, cờ chớp in Vietnamese, is played here mostly as one section of a club’s tournament day. HCMCHESS and Parents-Love-Chess Club include it among their rated formats, V-Chess pairs rapid and blitz on its tournament days at 5 Trần Lựu, and the Hòa Hưng chess club held a blitz tournament at 82CT Tam Đảo in March 2026. The Rạch Miễu club tournaments at the sports hall on Hoa Phượng, Cầu Kiệu, are blitz events numbered from one.
A blitz game lasts a few minutes per player, so a single afternoon holds many rounds. The cards say where the newest blitz event on record was played. None of these places publishes a weekly blitz evening, so look at the organiser’s newest listing before setting out.
